HEF’s CEO Kim Jowell Elected to State Education Foundation Executive Committee

The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations recently elected Kim Jowell, CEO of Hillsborough Education Foundation, as Vice Chair of Finance. Jowell is one of four officers who, along with five statewide local education foundation leaders, govern the Consortium, a membership organization for Florida’s district-wide local education foundations.

Established in 1987, the Consortium is the membership organization for the education foundations aligned with Florida’s county-wide school districts. The mission of the Gainesville-based statewide organization is to facilitate partnerships and build the capacity of its members that collectively raise more than $83 million annually to innovate learning and support students and teachers through a variety of programs.
