Empowering Teachers with Resources for Classroom Success
Providing teachers with the essential resources and support they need to excel in the classroom is vital for student achievement. At the Teaching Tools Resource Center, full-time instructional staff in Hillsborough County Public Schools (excluding non-Title I charter schools) have access to free core school supplies and other valuable materials. Operated by Hillsborough Education Foundation and staffed by dedicated volunteers, this resource center ensures teachers are equipped to foster a productive learning environment.
In-Person Shopping
Teachers typically need around 45 minutes to complete their shopping. Please arrive at the start of the appointment window.
For the last time slot of the day, we require teachers to arrive 45 minutes before the TTRC closes.
Teachers can visit the Teaching Tools Resource Center by making an appointment during the following timeframes:
- Monday, August 5, 2024 – Thursday, May 29, 2025:
- Mondays: 1:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (must arrive by 4:45 p.m.)
- Wednesdays: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. (must arrive by 5:15 p.m.)
- Thursdays: 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (must arrive by 4:45 p.m.)
- 2nd & 4th Saturdays: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (must arrive by 12:15 p.m.)

Who Can Shop?
Full-Service Schools
All full-time instructional staff at Hillsborough County Public Schools and Title I charter schools are eligible to shop from July through May.
Check if your school is a Full-Service School to confirm eligibility.
Deliver to My School
Select Title I schools in outlying areas of Hillsborough County qualify for direct delivery of supplies. Staff at these schools may also choose to shop in person at the Teaching Tools Resource Center.

How to Shop with Us
Eligible teachers may shop twice per semester (July-December & January-May) by scheduling an appointment online.
If your school qualifies for the Deliver to My School program, you have the following options each semester:
- Order online (twice per semester), OR
- Shop in person (twice per semester), OR
- Mix it up: Use (1) in-person shopping trip and (1) online order per semester.
