STUDENT ESCORT INFORMATION

During the ceremony at the Straz Center, you will be introduced by a current or former student who can speak to the impact you’ve had on their life. Please select someone who can share a meaningful and personal story about why you deserve this honor. (We kindly discourage selecting your own child.) You may work with your student and escort to help shape their remarks, or if you prefer to be surprised, designate someone else to assist. The speech should be no longer than one minute, and we encourage the student to rehearse and time it beforehand. Your student escort will participate in the afternoon rehearsal on the day of the event.
