150,000 Reasons to Help Erase the Need—Donate School Supplies Today

More than 150,000 students in Hillsborough County Public Schools qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Many students don’t have some of the most basic supplies—paper, pencils or a backpack—they need to be organized and ready to learn.

To help our students and families who need a little assistance, we provide teachers in our Title I schools with the essential tools necessary to support academic achievement.

Eligible teachers may visit our Teaching Tools Resource Center once a month to pick up supplies for free.

Your donations can positively impact a student’s life, an entire classroom and the future of our community.

DROP-OFF LOCATION

If you’d like to donate supplies in person, donations are accepted Monday through Friday during business hours at our office, 2306 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33607.

Host a drive

A supply drive is a great way to make a difference by giving students in need the educational tools to succeed in school. When you host a supply drive at your business or civic organization, your donation helps us keep the shelves stocked in our Teaching Tools Resource Center, which provides free supplies to teachers and students.

Check out this list of the 18 most-needed items.

While many drives are organized in the summer to help get students ready to go back to school, there is an ongoing need for supplies throughout the school year.

To help you get started with your drive, here is a flyer you can use to promote your event.

Collected supplies may be dropped off at our office or we can arrange to pick up large quantities of items.
