HEF CEO elected to Consortium of Florida Education Foundations’ Executive Committee

GAINESVILLE, FL – The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations recently elected Kim Jowell, CEO of Hillsborough Education Foundation, as Vice-Chair of Organization. Kim is one of four officers who, along with five statewide local education foundation leaders, govern the Consortium, a membership organization for Florida’s district-wide local education foundations.

Established in 1987, the Consortium is the membership organization for the education foundations aligned with Florida’s county-wide school districts.  The mission of the Gainesville-based statewide organization is to facilitate partnerships and build the capacity of its members that collectively raise more than $83 million annually to innovate learning and support students and teachers through a variety of programs.
