150,000* students in Hillsborough County Public Schools need your support. Many kids don’t have some of the most basic supplies—paper, pencils or a backpack—they need to be ready to learn. You can help put these essential tools into the hands of students who need them most.

Your donations can positively impact a student’s life, an entire classroom and the future of our community.

Host a Drive

When you host a school supply drive at your business or organization, it’s a great way to make a difference by giving our most vulnerable students the educational tools needed to succeed in school. Plus, you will be helping us restock supplies in our Teaching Tools Resource Center to support students and teachers in Hillsborough County.

There are a variety of ways your company can host a drive:

Gather school supplies at your location—you can drop off the collection at HEF or arrange for us to pick up the items
Shop from our Amazon Wish List—supplies are delivered directly to our office
Encourage your staff to make a cash donation on our website and note it’s part of your company’s supply drive

Here are some examples of how your donation can make a difference:

$10 can supply 200 pencils to help support students’ learning.
$50 can provide a student with a backpacked filled with essential school supplies.
$100 can support a teacher with crucial classroom tools and resources.
$250 can provide art supplies for an entire classroom.
$500 can fund an engaging and hands-on STEAM kit for a Pre-K through 5th grade class.

Hillsborough Education Foundation is partnering with Pinellas Education Foundation for the Tampa Bay School Supply Drive.

By hosting a drive in both counties or participating in one of our drop-off events, your company or organization can help support the 200,000+ public schools students in need in our communities.

Do you have supplies or products at your office that aren’t being used but are taking up space? You can donate it to Hillsborough Education Foundation. Everyone benefits when you take time to donate your unwanted items—teachers and students could use it in their classrooms, you could use it as a tax deduction and promote your business as being green because you’re doing your part to keep it out of the landfill.
